The CounterCorp Anti-Corporate Film Festival is an annual three-day series of corporate-related films, panel discussions, and events, held in San Francisco.

By anti-corporate, we don't just mean "independent" (i.e., non-corporate) films, but those that examine and reflect the role that corporations play in our daily lives, and the effect they have on people, communities, and cultures around the world — and on the planet itself.

The goals of the Festival are to raise public and media awareness, to encourage critical thought and analysis, and to foster informed debate about the ways in which big corporations actually operate, and what they really add to — and subtract from — humanity's "bottom line".

The festival seeks a wide variety of U.S. and foreign-made, feature-length and short, "narrative" (fictional) and documentary, live action and animated films in a range of formats, including 16mm, 35mm, VHS, DVD, DV-Cam and MiniDV.

Non-English films must have English subtitles.

To submit a film for consideration, please download a submission form from our website, fill it out completely, and mail it to us with the film by the deadline. (The deadline for the 2007 CounterCorp Festival is August 3.)

The CounterCorp Festival also welcomes suggestions for films. Please e-mail us with as much of the following information as possible to submissions@countercorp.org:
