Target group: ESoDoc trains across the range of documentary film making, new media and participatory video. We are looking for documentary film makers who wish to work in the areas of human rights and environmental protection, often in the developing world and sometimes in collaboration with NGOs. In addition, in 2008, we are keen to train NGO field workers or/and citizen activists who appreciate the value of film and want to learn how to make participatory videos and new media as part of their work.
Participation fee: 1.200€ (600€ for participants from new EU member countries). Participation fee includes tuition, room and board for the entire course. Limited number of scholarship funding is available.
Sessions: ESoDoc offers three 1-week sessions held over a 6-month period, during which participants, either individually or in groups, develop a documentary film project in a stimulating intercultural environment. An e-platform and a tutor will support this work.
