The Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that is dedicated to attracting more attention to our region for film and television production as well as to assist regional filmmakers and film related events.

The Film Society hopes that their efforts will help to encourage an interest and appreciation for the art of filmmaking and to inspire young people to pursue filmmaking as a possible career opportunity.

Regionally, we hope that our efforts will raise the bar on the quality of NW Pa. film productions and invite like minded individuals and organizations to join us in showcasing our area as a location for major studio productions as well as smaller budgeted independent films.
