FirstGlance Film Fests are the most successful trulyu indie film festivals in North America, with two festivals annually, one in Philadelphia and one in Hollywood. In 2009 FirstGlance started its online presence with a short online contest that runs prior to the festivals with a great prize package and a spot in the Closing Night Screenings. FirstGlance offers a great prize package valued at over$25,000 per festival and gives short filmmakers the opportunity for both online and retail distribution.
FirstGlance also runs a yearly feature and short script competition with the possibility of the featute finalists to be read by hollywood producers and production companies for possible option, sell or production. The short script winner has the possibility of being co-produced by FirstGlance Films and premiered at one of the festivals.
