narrative / documentary feature: narrative / documentary features are any films over 40 minutes that explore and / or depict issues of humanitarian and / or global importance either as a direct theme or as a fundamental aspect of the film in a documentary style.

narrative / documentary short: narrative shorts / documentary shorts are any films under 40 minutes that explore and / or depict issues of humanitarian and / or global importance either as a direct theme or as a fundamental aspect of the film.

psa (public service announcement): any psas that explore and / or depict issues of humanitarian and / or global importance either as a direct theme or as a fundamental aspect of the psa; including humanitarian causes, prevention, and issues of global need.

animation: any animation spots under 40 minutes that explore and/or depict issues of humanitarian and / or global importance either as a direct theme or as a fundamental aspect of the animation clip.
