Each year film and music lovers from around the world gather at the Woodstock Film Festival for an innovative variety of films, first-class concerts, workshops, celebrity-led panels, an awards ceremony, and fantastic parties.

At the Woodstock Film Festival, participants and visitors find themselves in a friendly, casual environment, one that is conducive to creativity, networking and a good time, surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. In addition to drawing sold-out audiences from the 20 million people who live within a two-hour drive, the festival has attracted visitors from all parts of the country and the world.

Festival mainstays include industry executives, television anchors, network and cable executives, magazine and newspaper editors, record label executives, writers, painters, models, entertainment lawyers, producers, critics, and publishers.

The WOODSTOCK FILM FESTIVAL, which will celebrate its Tenth Anniversary Sept 30 - Oct 4, is now accepting entries for 2009. Awards are presented for Best Feature, Best Documentary, Best Short Documentary, Best Short Film, Best Student Film, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Animation. Cash, prizes and/or services are given out in each category (to see 2008 details and jurors visit http://www.woodstockfilmfestival.com/awards2008.htm). Audience Awards are presented for Best Feature and Best Documentary. Award sponsors have included The Lee Marvin Estate (Best Feature), The James K. Lyons Memorial Fund (Best Editing), Panavision (Haskell Wexler Cinematographer Award), Lowel-Light, Apple Computers, Final Draft, Post Factory, A&E Indie Films, Docurama, Kodak, Markertek, Baseline, and others.

Early deadline May 25. Final deadline June 22. Entry fee range from $10 - $50.
